When it comes to installation, we typically follow these steps:
Measure and prepare the roof surface by removing any old roofing materials and repairing any damage.
Install the underlayment to protect the roof from moisture.
Install eave and valley trim prior to panel installation. After the first panel is properly aligned, fasten per the fasteners placement and spacing guide located in your Florida Product Approval.
When the panels are installed, we will install the remaining trim and flashing. Starting at the eave edges and work from the bottom upwards.
Next, we will install flashing around any roof penetrations, such as chimneys or vents, to prevent water from seeping in.
We will finish the edges of the roof with trim or edging to give it a clean, finished look.
